EFFECTIVENESS OF WARM PAD AND ABDOMINAL STRETCHING ON REDUCING DYSMENORRHEA PAIN IN A ADOLESCENT WOMEN IN KENJERAN DISTRICT

Introduction: Pain during menstruation causes discomfort in daily physical activities. The study aimed to compare the effectiveness of Warm Pad and Abdominal Stretching reducing dysmenorrhea pain scale. Methods: This used a pre-experimental design with one-group pre-test design. research was conducted total sample 20 people menstruation. sampling technique carried out using quota questionnaire. statistical test Wilcoxon Test Pvalue = 0.05. Results: Technique mean value scale before intervention 5.5 average result after 3.3. Meanwhile, for respondents Technique, score 5.2 3.4. results processing data obtained (p 0.021) <0.05. So it can be concluded that is effective also Conclusions: this an alternative therapy which usually applied when experiencing so risk felt neutralized.
